The purifier of Bagheria is constituted by a line of screening and grit removal-oil removal, a line equalization, four oxidation and sedimentation lines, of which the most recently also with compartment denitrification, two filtration lines, a final disinfection line. The sludge is subjected to aerobic digestion, thickening and dewatering on two centrifuges.
